The native Swedish of Sweden vs the native Swedish of Finland

These two Swedish "accents" are distinctly different, not to be confused with a common accent that native Finns may have when speaking Swedish.

The native Swedish of Sweden vs the Finno-Swedish accent differs quite a bit, but primarily in intonation of words and the melody of sentences. Many idioms and sayings are noticeably different, however, some grammar differences can also be found.

The difference can be simplified by Finno-Swedish having a melody more similar to the Finnish language and that each letter in a word is pronounced.

Some students of Swedish may find the pronuocination of each letter in a word makes learning Swedish through the Finno-Swedish accent somewhat easier.
